Technology

Have you ever heard of the CEREC device or CAD/CAM technology? CAD/CAM stands for Computer-Aided Design and Computer-Aided Manufacturing, which refers to the design and manufacturing of dental restorations using a computer.
At Dr. Shadi Samir’s center, we offer the CEREC device that employs CAD/CAM technology, allowing for the creation of your dental restorations in less than an hour. This device is used for designing crowns, ceramic fillings, fixed bridges, veneers, and more. It has revolutionized the field of dental restorations due to its extraordinary precision and rapid performance compared to traditional laboratory-based methods.
One of the main advantages of the CEREC device is that you can receive your restoration on the same day. This technology streamlines the procedures involved in crafting restorations, especially the impression-taking process. Traditionally, impressions are made by creating a model that exactly matches the teeth and sending it to a lab for fabrication. In contrast, this device allows us to capture the impressions using a high-resolution digital camera, resulting in restorations that are exceptionally precise, eliminating issues such as leaks, unpleasant odors, or food debris accumulation.

( Vita easyshade V ) Colour Selector This amazing technology allows you to easily select the colour of your veneers/fillings.
The colour selection method is digital and simple and provides highly reliable measurements in seconds.
You can rest assured that your new crown, veneer or filling will accurately match the colour of your natural teeth.

3D X-Ray Examination
The 3D X-ray examination captures the entire mouth in a single image, including the teeth, upper and lower jaws, surrounding structures, and tissues. It typically provides detailed views of the bones and teeth.
Panoramic X-rays utilize a very low dose of radiation and can be used for planning treatments for dentures, orthodontics, extractions, and implants.
These X-rays do not require special preparation. Please inform your doctor if there is a possibility of pregnancy. Remove any jewelry, glasses, or metallic objects that may interfere with the X-ray images.

A Diode laser-Biolase is a great tool for aesthetic gum contouring that can produce immediate results and is easily acceptable to the patient. And also black gums depigmentation can be done in just one visit.

The inLab MC X5 is a great addition to our practice as it enables us to make Zirconia crowns and bridges within just 48 hours.

GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy)
GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy) is the latest innovation in preventive dental care, designed to provide patients with a comfortable, pain-free, and highly effective cleaning experience. Unlike traditional methods, GBT targets and removes harmful biofilm, the main cause of gum disease and tooth decay, while preserving the natural enamel and protecting soft tissues.
This advanced technology uses a combination of airflow, warm water, and fine powder particles to gently clean the teeth and gumline. It ensures thorough plaque and stain removal, even in hard-to-reach areas, without causing discomfort or sensitivity.
One of the greatest benefits of GBT is that it is safe for all patients, including those with dental implants, braces, veneers, and restorations. By focusing on biofilm management, this therapy not only enhances oral hygiene but also helps prevent long-term dental issues, making it an essential part of modern preventive dentistry.
At Perfect Smile Clinics, we use the GBT device to deliver a new standard of dental cleaning, precise, effective, and patient-friendly, ensuring healthier gums, fresher breath, and a brighter smile after every session.
